I live in Missouri South of St. Louis. St. Louis is centrally located and has a nice airport. Plenty of things to do and places to meet.
Chicago Ohare is also a good location to have a meeting. Great hotel right there by the runway.
With all due respect, I don’t think I would feel safe anywhere close to St. Louis, what with the prosecutors letting rioters out of jail and all. Besides, I’ve been there enough for one lifetime.
I have the same thing to say about Chicago.
No matter what place is chosen, it will be more convenient for some, and less so for others.
I could drive to each of Chicago and St. Louis in under ten hours.
I would have to stay overnight during a drive to SD. But I am up for it. I’ve never been there. And I am really impressed with their governor and people. The Black Hills area looks beautiful. It seems to me the area has the right “spirit,” so to speak, for our group.
Isn’t the link “Q” posted in St. Louis?
I lived in S. Dakota for a year. Like any area, It has strengths and development needs. Can’t say I have any desire to return.
I was assuming that POTUS and Q operation would have things well under control by the time we met up. There’s no way I’d be driving or flying anywhere while this nonsense is going on.
There are plenty of places in St. Louis that would be ok and other places particularly North and East of the city that it is best to avoid. As with any major city it helps to know the area.
And of course, don’t forget Branson, MO. Family friendly area with plenty to do and lots of places to meet. Not as centrally located, but it does have an airport and good roads to get there.
