You’re letting your daughter live alone in St. Louis?

Good grief, no.
She’s 21, graduating from Auburn University in August (Communication Disorders, 4.0 Dean’s List), and has received an academic scholarship to attend Washington University’s Medical School. My husband and I have advised against it as she has other options.
We will be looking for apartments in Central West End as close to the medical campus as possible.
I am not happy about her decision by any means.

Well, it’s a great school! My father went to Wash U. I’d rather be in Clayton or Webster Groves than U. City or West End, but I know it’s a very popular place to be these days so maybe it’s cleaned up. Lot shorter commute.
