Why is there a pervasive online tendency to use the plural of "racist" -- when referring to an individual?

1. Is it one of those FR "immortalized typo" inside jokes -- like "A moose bit my sister"?

2. Is it a U.S. regional (East Coast, West Coast, Southern, etc.) "thing"?

3. Is it another "Public Screwel" (H/T: Rush) failure "thing"?

4. Is it an Ebonic/Black 'Culture' "thang"?

5. Is it an Internet "cool thing"?

6. Is it a hard-wired human brain (like dyslexia) "thing"?

7. Is there some other origin / explanation for the phenomenon?

I've observed it many times across several years on FR, and sometimes on "ϟϟocial media" -- and, even, in newspapers and other written media...

Would someone -- anyone -- please explain "racists" individuals?
