CNN journalist Omar Jimenez has been taken into police custody during a live broadcast at the site of the protests in Minneapolis, after clearly identifying himself to officers.
Jimenez's crew, including a producer and a camera operator, were also placed in handcuffs.

The upper CNN management should be arrested too. I think it’s called “acting in concert”.
First Amendment rights are not absolute. There are time, place and manner limitations. I don't know what the issue was here. If the reporters were interfering with the cops during their jobs, they could legitimately be arrested.

That’s a fair point. But it’s interesting to note that CNN doesn’t tell us why their reporters were arrested.
Trump’s fault?
CNN pushed the most toxic conspiracy crap in the history of the country... the damn 'Russia Russia Russia' coup attempt to take down our duly elected President - President Trump.
If CNN knew they were lying in that coup attempt they should be arrested... for assisting to overthrow the elected Government of the United States...
Arrest the liars on MSNBC while we're at it for pushing the conspiracy and attempting to remove a President based on lies.
There was a news lawsuit in Tampa about 30 years ago. A construction worker had been backed over by a cement truck. The cameraman was trying to film the worker’s flattened body and a cop stopped him. As I recall, the cops lost that one.
At that time, I doubt that the network would have aired the footage. Today, probably it would hit Twitter before it even got back to the editor.

If police gives someone, even the media direction to do something such as vacate an area and they don’t comply then they are opening themselves up for the police to take necisarry action. The media is not outside the law (although they think they are). Not complying with police direction is how this whole mess got started isn’t it?
