It is with a very, very heavy heart that I inform everyone that Farmer Dean has passed.
He fought cancer and then septic infections and pneumonia valiantly for 3 years before succumbing.
He loved his farm and his wife Becky and his horses and his incredible gun collection very much.
I had the honor of talking to him many, many times and several days before his death.
Please take a moment to remember him.
He deserves it.
His memory will stay with me the rest of my life.
I don’t cry very often but I am tonight.
It’s not possible to meet a nicer, finer man than Dean was.
In his last days he was not concerned with his health and his pain.
He was concerned about my and other people’s souls and asked us to please get closer to God.
He was a very brave soul and a true believer.
In God and America.
prayers for all his family and his friends....his suffering is over...his journey completed, and by all accounts, completed well...
Damn.. thanks 0622
Rest In Peace Farmer Dean...
RIP and sympathies for his family and friends.
Sad news. RIP
RIP Farmer Dean.
Oh no. Sad news. God be with Becky. Glad he had a friend in you, dp. On a happier note, I hope the good Farmer Dean is thoroughly enjoying his new digs, free of pain, surrounded by nothing but pure, sweet love.
RIP Farmer Dean
Rest in peace, Farmer Dean.
Condolences
Very sad to hear.
RIP Dean and God bless you.
Godspeed, Farmer Dean.
A blessed repose to him and eternal memory.
A man can never have to many friends. I hope my comments comforted him while he was still able to read them. May your own troubles be few. I’ve known a few brave souls in my time, many of them were unlikely heroes.
RIP. Prayers up for family.
Thank you for letting us know about Farmer Dean’s passing, and for honoring him with such kind and heartfelt words.
Thanks dp0622, ping to all lists.
Sad news. Prayers for his family.
May he rest in everlasting peace.
