Grieved to hear this news. May Our Lord take Him in His Mighty and Loving Arms in His time. Prayers for Farmer Dean and those who love him.

I just lost my sweet cousin a few days ago, so I know how this hurts.
Tears must come, as they are grief unspoken, but they are
also part of your healing.
There will come a day, when the memories will bring smiles without sorrow.
That day, you will feel God’s promise.

If he’s able to speak again before he passes I will I promise. I do not think that is going to happen but I will tell his wife.
Several times ago when we spoke he told me he was taking morphine pills and oxycodone pills and was in pain. I told him tell them right now to get him on an IV morphine drip. I was so angry. They did put him on one so at least the last days that he was alert he was not in pain.
He is not alert anymore.
I appreciate that and I will let his wife know. I have spoken with Dean many many times over the past 3 years but he is not a cousin. And I have not known him my whole life. The grief of your cousin surely surpassed what I will feel. I’m just being honest. It hurts. But like you said it all goes away in time.
And I will only remember the jokes that he made up that were sometimes funny :-) and his tremendous love of his gun collection.
I’m betting that your cousin was an awesome person. You can tell by the company they keep

Sad news. Prayers up for a fellow Freeper.
My heart is hurting, and my eyes are leaking, but I am praying for him, his family, and for all of us who have been privileged to know him from FR, and who will miss him so much.
We will join him on this last journey someday. So let us surround him and his family with our love and prayers, as we would wish for ourselves and our loved ones when our time comes.

Father, I ask for peace that passes all understanding to keep Dean and his wife. Bring comfort to his loved ones and take Dean peacefully and without pain. In Jesus name...
Prayers for Farmer Dean and his family as he prepares for the journey home. Lord Jesus be near he and his family and comfort them through this difficult time. Amen.
Been saying the occasional prayer for him and also pray for his family and loved ones...when a family member goes through all he has, they all go through it and are often conflicted when the person reaches final peace....they need our prayers as much as he does.
God watch over and keep them all....and welcome Farmer Dean into Your eternal fold when he breathes his last mortal breath and joins the "Eternal Club".

I do not know if I will be able to speak with Dean again as he is in hospice wing and nurse said he can’t answer the phone in his current state.
I called his cell 4 times today as if that magical ring will make him be able to answer.

Prayers for Farmer Dean’s suffering to be eased.
This latest news is heartbreaking - Farmer Dean is like a family member and is considered as much in my prayers.
I keep calling his cell phone like he’s gonna answer but he’s not.
I will just keep calling the hospital every other day to see if he is still there...
