Sullivan has telegraphed that that is his play. He’s got Flynn’s signature right under the line that says “under penalty of perjury” and he’s specifically wrote in his direction to Gleason that he wants that covered in the “amicus brief”.
I’m sure people do change pleas, but this isn’t any other case -there are heavy politics completely infecting this, and he has Flynn’s signature to hold against him if he wants to do his Left wing buddies a solid. Sullivan is certainly projecting that this is what he’s going to do. We will know if Powell files a writ of mandamus tomorrow, that she thinks that’s his play too.
We’d have to review the list of chatprges in the Flynn indictment,, and then what specific charge(s) he plead to. My understanding perjury was’t one of them. If Sullivan or his sarrogate bring a perjury charge without indictment and with no prosecutor bringing a charge, it’s a nullity.
What’s happening here is so blatant, an appeals panel should wash it on an expidicted basis
But the majority of Rs and Ds share a number of common beliefs, including globalism, the power of big government (look at how fast the R’s spent trillions), foreign wars and being the world’s policeman, sprinkling around government largess in return for polical favors and campaign money, the “good ole boy” network of backroom dealmaking, and a whole raft or crap science that they use to justify wasting money on the boondoggle of the day.

Do you have any details about the lawsuit and how it might relate to the current unmasking revelations? Perhaps she was unmasked and had embarrassing or politically damaging information leaked to the NY Times?

You are absolutely right. The unmasking process is for the unidentified people in the intercepts. If they are US citizens that is a crime if there is no cause.
