Correction to last post— “nearly half”, not most.
from Carnegie Mellon University
I’ve never trusted Rush. I’ve always assumed he was ‘loyal opposition’.
3+ months in and NOBODY talks about MORBIDITY associated with this disease.
WHY IS THAT?
And WHY, if it’s ‘just the flu’, has China locked down 100M+ people.
If it were ‘just the flu’ and ‘only killed the elderly’, China would be balls to the wall after herd immunity.
But they’re not.
It’s almost as though the elites (in the west) know something about this disease they don’t want the peasants to figure out until it’s too late.
Meanwhile, back to work peasants, hedge funds and entertainment companies need your $$$’s. Even if it gives you a lifelong chronic illness and you die early from it.
btw, the big news here in CT is the showdown between the big tribal casinos and the governor.
The casinos announced they will open June 1 (for CT and RI residents only).
The governor is not pleased.

This one will be fun to watch....
I suspect what we’ll find out, once we are allowed to do so and it’s too late to change it, is that any post pubescent male that contracts this will experience a stepwise decrease in T and also swimmers.
And the elites, who think testosterone is a form of ‘poisoning’ (but only when it’s in peasant males) and there are ‘way too many people’ (but specifically too many peasants) will CHEER the news.
They’ve been invading for the past 20 years but there will be a huge increase now. All they’ve done for us is raise the property tax 10% each and every year.
What I am seeing in the US is not an organized conspiracy but mass chaos and confusion that varies state to state and region to region.
Lots of powerful folks have different axes to grind, but there seems to be little agreement among them.
Billy might be asymptomatic and is spreading to his customers.
Just wait until those who have mostly been staying home decide it ok to be out and about like normal. Hubby went to Wallyworld a few days ago and said no one was wearing a mask and it was crowded.
Whoever thought of blaming caution on “fear” had a very clever idea. The amount of sexist and ageist ridicule has reached tsunami proportions.
It is not fear but educated caution and a big dose of compassion for the sick and permanently disabled—much harder to understand and ridicule by the Limbaughs and those who follow them out of fantasy and selfish pleasure-seeking and ignorance and wanting to be part of the right “conservative” crowd. And it’s tears for our country as a whole, attacked by a clever and powerful enemy.
How about this as a slogan for our side: It’s Tears, Not Fears.
I am not at all offended by the “fear” label.
There are always a few “brave” people who love fighting (in wars or at the local bar), skydiving, traveling into space, etc.
We need them as the pioneers who take the arrows.
However, most of us are not wired that way—and the “brave” folks are making a huge error if they think they are a majority of the population—and another huge error if they think that shame and ridicule will cajole the rest of us into supporting their view of the world.
I guess the world needs cowards, too?
In one of its earlier comments, since pulled by mods for bad language, it referred to ‘so many untaxed children’.
Now, let’s put on our thinking caps...what country TAXES children?
I’d call it wumao, but I think they’ve gotten a raise.
So, if it’s a nothingburger, why has china locked down 100M+ people again for ‘the flu’ that ‘only kills the elderly’?
Mmmmmaybe China knows something Rush Limbaugh doesn’t.
Or Limbaugh doesn’t want YOU to know.
The link you gave at comment 660 was excellent too. I posted it on Facebook.
I remember visiting the first white settlement in Kentucky—now a tourist site.
The settlement was surrounded by a ten foot high fence all the way around, with small log cabins built into the inside of the fence.
The interior was the area where crops were grown.
In each log cabin there were small holes on the outer walls.
They were there so the settlers could shoot at attacking Indians as needed.
The men would leave the fort to go hunting from time to time.
There was a woman who lived there who had twelve husbands over the course of her life. Eleven of her husbands had been killed by Indians when they went hunting outside the walls.
She survived and had children who in turn were the ancestors of many Kentuckians today.
Was she a fearful coward? You bethcha!
Everyone has their role to play—shaming and blaming is irrelevant.
Well, we are going to need some healthy people to rebuild society when all is said and done.
