Yep, the toes that look like frost bite was my first thought, too. Very weird that happening without the cold.

UT is all about $$$. It has the largest tuition of any of the state universities.

“Poor” people I know are spending their checks on reliable vehicles.
A reliable one at that price is unusual, but it’s a significant down payment for one.
A chunk of mine is going for plumbing work.
I do need a new coffee maker but the only one I want is the B&D Mill and Brew. Hard to find right now.
I see microwaves are plentiful again.

(what do the chicoms know about the LONG term effects of this virus on the survivors that we havent figured out yet (or are hoping no one will notice...)) And that is what explains their reaction of shutting everything down.

They have red areas in the middle of the Adirondack State Park.
There’s NOBODY living up there hardly.
That map is as useless as the NYT.

I am convinced some of these computer models don’t know the difference between moose and people. ;-)

I was listening to a podcast yesterday and a caller called in. He said he thinks they are suppressing news about clusters.
He says he is working in some small city/town in North Carolina down the road from a chicken plant. He heard the news that 5 workers had it, then, 12, then 75, then 280. (not the real numbers but close)
Then he drove by one day and they had put up big banners outside saying "We are hiring".
He noticed there was no local news covering it and felt like people should know before working there.
So, he contacted the local news to tell him all that and they just blew him off and never reported it.
So, you have to wonder how much of that is happening.

I wiped down the box again set up the sewing machine. Finished up the mending and so far it seems to run well. Nice solid running sound. Sits well. Has a threader so no turning it upside down like the old one just to thread the needle. Happy camper.
Avoiding the new laptop. Don’t like 10 and it won’t let me play my little ancient games.

That’s ok. The construction guys next door are making up for the music venues. Horrid rap junk rattling the windows - boom, boom, boom cuss word, cuss word, boom! They’ll never finish. It took them all morning yesterday to nail down 6 boards. Too busy on their phones. Two week job and they’re into 6 months.
