I believe some of the FluBros are people who were not prepared for financially for hard times. They were either living paycheck to paycheck or just got on good financial footing in the last four years. They are not scared of the virus; they fear bad financial hard times.
Their fear has hardened their hearts and does not allow them to see that President Trump took this virus seriously too. They will make comments the President was force into this or he got bad advice.
A lot them took it to heart (misunderstood his speech) when they heard Trump say that the Coronavirus was the new Democratic hoax. I afraid their fear cause them to follow / believe some very bad people and propaganda who are waiting to exploit divisions in the country to gain political power.
But hey, as long as Bubba’s all you can eat catfish buffet stays open that’s OK huh? The elderly and the chronically ill have it coming.

Did we ever hear why GA did the stuff with their numbers?
Nope. Technically, the numbers are there, they are just sorted in a way that tacked the current cases onto past numbers so the current numbers look lower than they are. Maybe the numbers are lower, but I’m not sure how we will know. I know the hospitalized are definitely trending up.
Anyway, liberals are having a heyday with it. Things like this do not inspire trust. I admit I don’t know much about our governor other than he’s GOP and I voted for him over Abrams of course (and would any dem) but I wonder if maybe he is being bamboozled by people in charge of his health dept.
Take away the 40k from metro areas of NYC and Boston, and it is under 30k for the rest of the nation. The AVERAGE flu season over the last 20 years was 32k. This was an AVERAGE flu season, with two cities gone insane, and a PR campaign that would make Goebbels cry tears of joy.
