It’s just the flu, bro.

One of our Flubros had the idea for a retrospective to find out what event/news made you decide to become a Flubro/Flubra instead of a Fearper.

For me (don’t know the exact date), it was when scientists were claiming a 3% case fatality rate. The total cases had to be greatly underestimated because no viral disease specifically target seniors. Viruses don’t avoid young people - there had to be a massive untested population of young people who were infected and asymptomatic.

Deaths are plummeting in the USA according to worldometer. These restrictions have to go. We need one state to say there are absolutely no more restrictions. A few states have scaled back their restrictions but they are still there. And I am sick of these 3 phase plans and 5 phase plans and 10 phase plans. Someone somewhere please just say there are no phases and all restrictions are lifted.

prevention/cure news - I am a big fan of the anti-concussion nutritional supplement NAC which is cheap, available on the internet and has no patent. A Freeper posted this yesterday about NAC also helping with CV (and other issues):

I became a flubro when I first saw the numbers come from Europe that said most people were asymptomatic or had minor cold-like symptoms. Deaths were mostly people with pre-existing conditions over the age of 75. Then, in talking to several friends in China, no one knew of anyone who had the virus. Some plague. Once the “We are the World” commercials started and the toilet paper hoarding, I knew we would fold like a cheap suit.

Once the first cases were detected outside of China and bodies weren’t stacking up I knew this was largely bullshit. Simple math proved that the truth was not what was being sold by the media and government ’experts’. I had a post back in ~January where I said this virus either wasn’t very contagious or it had a low mortality rate. Simple math made it impossible to be both. It turned out to be #2....just like the flu.

I was a FluBro from the beginning. Because of consulting work I did in the late 80's and 5 years of doctoral level statistics training, I had some familiarity with epidemiological modelling. In the early stages of an epidemic, all epidemiological models vastly overestimate fatality rates and case growth until more testing is done and more data is collected. I have to believe that Fauci and Birx know this. I knew immediately that they are political operatives posing as scientists.

So for tomorrow — there appears to be a CLEAR DOWNWARD trend. Today NJ played games by having 4000 new patients is unrealistic. It at best should have ben averaged — that would take the last two days down to 22000 then 20000 which is accurate.

I think there is a very obvious decrease and we are about half way down the the backside of the mountain.
