WASHINGTON - Former President Barack Obama, talking privately to ex-members of his administration, said Friday that the “rule of law is at risk” in the wake of what he called an unprecedented move by the Justice Department to drop charges against former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn.
In the same chat, a tape of which was obtained by Yahoo News, Obama also lashed out at the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic as “an absolute chaotic disaster.”
“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed - about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama said in a web talk with members of the Obama Alumni Association.
“And the fact that there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic - not just institutional norms - but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”

“That’s why, I, by the way, am going to be spending as much time as necessary and campaigning as hard as I can for Joe Biden,” he added.

Interestingly, Obama also accused Trump of playing “tribal trends” handling the Covid-19 pandemic. A Classic example of Leftist projection, there.

1) “We” (Obama and those he’s talking to) are not just fighting Trump, “we” have to wipe off Trumpism and Deplorables.
2) Speaking of Covid-19, if Obama had been in charge, he would have completely ignored it for 10 months. His response would be declare a global pandemic when casualty piled too high, and he could no longer sweep it under the rug with massive help from the enemedia, of course.
3) What would be Obama’s solution then? He would seize the opportunity to finally fulfill his dictator dream, like he said he envied ChiCom leader. Then probably his people will organize a “global” concert “For The Victim”.
If the justice system (under Trump) can get Obama and all his stooges...I think it’s Mount Rushmore time. He will become more than the greatest president ever; he will become a tourist destination!
And we now know Obama never wanted to relinquish his power, he did everything an outgoing president could to thwart Trump, spying on his campaign, and after he won the Nov 2016 election, every step of the way, even now as of yesterday. I thought somebody said he's the only (?) ex-president still lingers in D.C. Hmmmm....

Hoping Obama doesn’t blow away just yet. He still needs to be brought to justice. Don’t know if that will ever happen,but it looks like we might have a shot at it, especially if Obama keeps shooting off his mouth. If we DO bring him to justice at some point, I hope it can be a package deal with several others included.
Osama Obama did his best to destroy this Republic...and he is still trying. I keep hoping one of his big dogs gets indicted and they flip on Obama disclosing his culpability forcing him to flee this Republic forever.
So there’s a lot that I’d like to do to keep America moving, but the law is the law. And no one person is above the law.

The 0bama administration stunk from the head down. I would not be at all surprised if 0bama planted bugs throughout the White House before he left.
Shadow Administration sounds scared. May they quake in their boots and lose other bodily functions as well.
Several reasons
1) he was defending a woman in a sexual harassment case
2) bee exposed the Iran deal
3) he knew how the spy units were misused and had promised to investigate them. He was calling for an audit of the CIA
Until these people are punished with jail time, they will continue to act like what they did was right. That’s why just exposing them isn’t enough.
He did sound shook and scared. I think someone leaked it without his approval.
