If you havent heard of Hillsdale College, the institution was founded in 1844 by men and women who were grateful to God for the blessings of freedom and believed that education is the best way to keep that freedom.
As part of their education mission, Hillsdale has released a free five-part symposium looking at the coronavirus and the public policies made in response to it. The series features Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ala., author and journalist Alex Berenson, investigative journalist Mark Hemingway, and economist Brian Wesbury.
In the first video, China and the Coronavirus, Sen. Cotton joins Hillsdale president Larry Arnn for an interview. They discuss the origins of the coronavirus, Chinas misinformation campaign, and the Chinese governments wider agenda.
From there, the symposium examines The Failure of Expert Predictions and Models, The Lack of Preparedness of U.S. Public Health Agencies, The Economic Ramifications of Economic Shutdown and The Coronavirus and the Constitution. (With certain governors and mayors stripping civil rights and shredding constitutional rights seemingly by the moment, now’s the time educate ourselves and answer those who mock the ongoing dangers to liberty.)
You can watch the videos on Hillsdales symposium website.
