Protestors demand ‘End the shut down, now’ outside Massachusetts State House

Protesters jammed Beacon Street in front of the Massachusetts State House today chanting “End the shut down now,” and calling on the governor to remove restrictions on businesses and individuals in response to the coronavrus pandemic.

The crowd, standing shoulder-to-shoulder, spilled into Beacon Street prompting cops to shut down vehicle traffic in the area.

“The country is being shut down and its really hurting a lot of people and causing more devastation than we realize,” said Stoneham resident Susan Dawson. “Businesses, people are losing their livelihood.”

I love Middleboro! (the home of the plumber they interviewed) You'll find the full spectrum of opinions there, and folks not afraid to express them. Out there in Cranberry Country you're going to find folks who aren't about to give up their freedom. It's been that way since its first settlers left early Plymouth settlement.

It also has folks who regard Boston as a Liberal Utopia and want to transform the country to a wonderland with Michelle Obama as the next President.

It gets interesting.... <^..^>
