About 3-4 years back my wife damaged the garage door and I was attempting to get it open so that we could at least get in and out until we could replace it. One of the plates that was attached to the big overhead spring pulled free of the door and smacked me in the neck.
There was a bright flash of white just before impact and I’m convinced that there was some sort of intervention made to keep it from killing me. Had the plate hit me edge on, or reversed with the screws/bolts, or the wire hit me it would have taken out my throat or broken my jaw. Instead I got a painful but glancing blow from the flat backside of the plate. I was sore a week or so, but only slight bruising and some hoarseness.

My husband saw an angel when he was a child, standing outside his bedroom one night after he was in bed. His childhood was really troubled (without going into details) and I have struggled to forgive his dad for what my sweet husband endured.
But fast forward to the mid 80’s - he had a contract mowing the right of way with a tractor and mower deck on Pensacola Bay near the bridge over to Gulf Breeze. He was on a slope and somehow the tractor started to come off the ground, so he jumped off on the opposite side, the tractor righted itself and landed so that the mower part ran over him. He said he knew was gone - but he stood up and there wasn’t a scratch on him. So I know God protected him, whether by angels or some other means.
