If breakfast is gone by 8:30, I might as well start my diet now. I won’t be getting any more of lysie’s yummy breakfasts! Actually my plan is to get up earlier in the summer months because it is so nice and cool then. Going to take Cooper hiking. I’m skipping a garden this year because two years of listening to a dog bark while gardening is hardly relaxing.
So if I can get disciplined enough to get up early I can still partake!

That’s wonderful, you should be super proud of yourself. The norm is to carry on the dysfunction. To get out of that cycle isn’t as easy as one would think.

That’s admirable, and your kids are so lucky! Our home life growing up was bad, and it caused my brother to be a wonderful father, consciously being the opposite of our dad. It caused me to not have kids out of fear I might have any of Dad’s tendencies.

It’s such a shame you can’t enjoy your property without getting harassed by dogs barking.
Unfortunately, the dogs aren’t the problem, their owners are.
A big shame they don’t care to be good neighbors.

That’s an amazing letter. It should be published in our newspapers, if we had any real journalism going on. I’m still so amazed at how Trump has our back, consistently and thoroughly, even while dealing with the majority of those in Washington that are trying to destroy us and him.

I hope to be as diligent as you, and get up early. I know it’s the healthy way to live. But somehow I get all my energy about 9 p.m. when we were moving I would do my second round of packing or unpacking between 9 and about midnight. For some reason my body thinks it’s the right time to be doing stuff. But I do love the cool summer mornings.
I agree, the owners are the problem. The poor dogs are neglected. I’ve never had a problem with a neighbor’s dog barking if the dog is properly cared for. They are just trying to get some attention. I wasn’t until we got Cooper that I realized just how much dogs bond and need people. In Bakersfield we had a neighbor whose dog barked continuously from about 5 till midnight. I was able to look through the slats in the fence to see the poor dog, and every time the guy came home the dog would bring his toy or ball to the door and stand there, barking. Just waiting to play. It broke my heart to see how neglected the dog was. I’m sure these neighbors are no different, and are probably worse - they take horrible care of their animals. I have no idea why people like this even get them. It’s not fair to the poor Critters.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll sponsored by Coffee With Scott Adams for Tuesday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.
Not here overcast and rain in the near future.
Sherrod Brown is pi$$ing me off. Asking how many workers are going to die from going back to work. And the administration is sending essential workers out at risk and they aren’t paid a fair wage.
Same here. I had FOXNEWS going day and night. Now the TV is off and incredible peace fills the house.
