Biden wins Ohio primary, but the real contest was its attempt at mail-in voting (very low turnout)

The primary was the first major test of statewide elections via mail amid an outbreak. And the results were mixed.

There were reports of confusion but no widespread disruption. It wasn’t like Wisconsin earlier this month, when voters were forced to overlook social distancing guidelines to stand in line wearing masks to cast a ballot.

Still, overall turnout appeared to be off. The secretary of state’s office said that about 1.5 million votes had been cast as of midday Saturday, down sharply from the 3.2 million cast in Ohio’s 2016 presidential primary.

“Within the context of the threat of the virus, it’s a decision that we will have made the best of,” Republican Ken Blackwell, a former Ohio elections chief who chairs the bipartisan International Foundation for Electoral Systems, said of mail-in balloting.

**SNIP**

“My opinion going forward is that no serious thought should be given to converting to mail-in balloting for the November election,” Blackwell said. “You lick an envelope and mail in a ballot, there’s all kinds of evidence that would suggest that there would be ballots lost, and because you’ve taken out the bipartisan oversight at the basic community level, you lose a degree of almost guaranteed legitimacy.”

I demand that all election workers sending out the ballots be tested hourly to ensue they are not sending out Wuhan contaminated envelopes.

Fraud-by-mail is definitely shaping up to be a major “strategery” for the progs in November.

It keeps popping up in their conversation on a daily basis.

By September they will be screaming for it.

Most areas had an issue or two on the ballot. My problem was the turn around time on the triple mailing necessary. There wasn’t any time to let the ballot lay on the counter.

Well my ex sister in law who I talk to several times a week and my half brother and his fiancee never received their ballots. They all ARE DEMOCRATS.

My ex sister in law is disabled and takes a cab or bus system to get around. Transportation was free for disabled people yesterday. She called the night before for the cab company to pick her up so she could go vote. The gal told her there wasn’t an election that it was just the last day for absentee ballots to be mailed in. The gal said yeah I keep getting calls to go vote and I have to keep telling them no voting today just ballot deadline. My sister in law is 79 and doesn’t use computer. She tried calling voting people but lines were busy. So she didn’t vote.

Like I said, all were Dems and they didn’t received their ballots. They had called last week and week before to complain and were told they would be receiving them soon.

If DeWine decides to do mail-in voting in November, just know that the Dems will win everything. The LA County Supervisors just voted to have the November election a Mail-in- vote and send ACTIVE BALLOTS TO EVERY REGISTERED VOTER IN LA COUNTY. And ballot harvesting is legal in California. So, who doesn’t think that ALL those ballots will be cast? By every Democrat activist in the County......did you get a ballot? Did you vote yet?...Can I hel you fill out the ballot?...Don’t worry, I can sign for you if you cannot sign it yourself. OR Did you get a ballot?...Can I have it/ I will fill it out and submit it for you, no worries.

AND LA County has been ordered to clean up their voter rolls and purge 1.5 MILLION fraudulent voter registrations. Hasn’t happened yet though. Hmmmm. I wonder what they’re waiting for?

As an aside, I know 3 people in two different households that received notice from Pinal County, here in AZ, that they need to reregister as their address is coming up invalid. All 3 called and were told it was a mistake. The wrong template was used, their registrations are fine. Oh, and they were registered Republicans. And ballot harvesting, though illegal in AZ, did happen here. Nothing was done about it.

This election will be the most corrupt in our history. We had better be on our toes.

There are no guarantees that the disinterested or those unable to vote for themselves (physical, mental state) asked for or filled in their ballot. All it takes to verify is a signature and minimal personal information. Those ballots pass through a lot of hands in the process. One can’t help but wonder if this turns into a Constitutional crisis with no result forever.

BTW, no Dem primary for us in NYS.

NYS Dems don’t get to vote in a prez primary. Our primary has been cancelled.

Not a peep outta the DNC.

Go figure.

If the dims even SUSPECT that the pubbies are able to play games just as they are able, they will drop that demand for mail in ballots like a hot poker.

IIRC, California once floated the idea, that people who didn’t vote should be fined. Not kidding. Cannot remember the year, though it was pretty recent. I was wondering if they were just saying it to scare all their minions into voting.

Back when my son was much younger, he said to me ‘how could Saddam Hussein win an election with 99% of the vote?’. I told him that Iraq didn’t have secret elections and people who voted against him could be killed. Leftists would love us to be Iraq, voting for whatever Dem is on the ticket.
