1. General Electric (GE) In 2016, GE was bought by the worlds largest appliance company Haier from China
2. AMC Theatres AMC was bought out by Beijing-based Dalian Wanda Group in a $2.6 billion deal in May 2012.
3. Smithfield Foods Smithfield Foods, was acquired by Chinas Shuanghui International in 2013 from American owners for nearly $4.7 billion,
China also has a stake in the ff. American companies: Morgan Stanley, VISA, Blackstone, Ford, Chesapeake Energy, and in famous American social news aggregation site Reddit.

A clarification on GE.
GE sold their appliance business that was based in Louisville.
The rest of GE is still American owned, and listed on the NYSE.
This is not a defense of the idiots that run/ran GE.
