Officials removing an alligator that was being aggressive with traffic in Florida.
Officials are warning Florida motorists to beware of road rage -- but not from fellow drivers.
"It's gator mating season," the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook. "This means they could be more mobile and aggressive than usual." Alligators become more active in the spring, as the weather warms. They begin to court in April, but mating runs May through June, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
The sheriff's office shared a photo of a 9-foot male that was caught and relocated to a gator farm after being aggressive with traffic.
With 1.2 million alligators in Florida, officials are reminding people to never harass or feed them and report nuisance alligators to the FWC.

GO GATORS!
Jeez like we don’t have enough problems.
Steer clear .. of horny ‘gator.
Good thing everyone is indoors. I'm thinking that in an road rage incident the alligator would lose, though the car would be worse for it.
Jeez like we dont have enough problems.

Sad part is you are more likely to be attacked by a horny Gator in heat than catching the Corona bug in FL.
I remember when rock was young
Me and Suzie had so much fun
Oops, wrong reptile - never mind.
Great, now we wilL hear about some Florida Man furry who died trying to get intimate with a she gator.
Ugggh, Louisville killed us that game.
And gators carry the coronavirus too.
They should be warning people on foot...you are safe in a vehicle.
When are Gators NOT aggressive? Other than when they’re sleeping (with one scaly eye open).
I’ve abandoned far too many golf balls that landed near the water hazards on Florida courses because of these critters ... not caring at all as to whether or not they’re horny! (say, this triggered a memory from my long-ago days at my college fratnerity house ...)
Back when my aunt lived in Florida, while out driving one night a gator on the road reared up in front of the car. Did a fair amount of damage.
Oh; my gosh!!!! Shutdown Florida should be the screams now.
Shouldn’t the gators be practicing social distancing and sheltering at swamp?
I imagine this story resurfaces every year, kind of like the ones at Thanksgiving to remind you to eat and then get that bird in the refrigerator RIGHT NOW!
