Cleaning products and hand sanitizers will not be fully stocked at stores and online retailers for several more months supply chain experts have said. As coronavirus became more widespread in the United States and social distancing measures got stricter brand name household cleaning products like Lysol and Clorox quickly sold out across the country and germ-killers such as Purell became reserved for frontline businesses. America's popular brands have not been able to keep up with the demand of panic buyers as most of the raw materials are obtained from China and stocks likely won't return to pre-pandemic levels until July or August. Those materials take about four weeks to ship.

I’ve been able to get isopropyl alcohol at Walgreens. Kills virus on surfaces. Last time I had to ask because they aren’t putting on shelves. I’ve gotten hydrogen peroxide there also which also kills it.
Which raw materials are obtained from China? And why? We can do raw materials here?
“Supply Chain Experts” Huh?
I’ll wait until I hear from the manufacturers, before I put any credence in these ‘experts’.
I don’t care about that. We had plenty of TP when this started but we’re running out - and there still seems to be a shortage. :(
Big displays of hand sanitizer at some East Tennessee grocery stores...most customers are ignoring it. Plenty of toilet paper, IF you are willing to pay the higher prices.
People are becoming amazingly creative. We are keeping our plant open with alcohol purchased from a local distillery and wipes made from dryer sheets soaked in it.
Once again, the slave labor globalists' chickens who sold out America come home to roost.
If you can’t go out anywhere, WTH do you need hand sanitizer?!
Especially if you read the entire article, then run the names through Google...
I wonder if plain white vinegar will do, it is pretty good with many nasty things.
Walmart here finally got it, my neighbor surprised me with some.
Lysol spray is extinct. My daughter is an isolation nurse here locally, and her staff has been using bleach and water on surfaces now for the last two weeks. They are about to run out of face shields. She says that’s not going to be a problem though, since she is currently the only nurse on her shift that hasn’t been sent home for testing positive. Makes he job tough, and spreads her thin among a whole ward of coronavirus patients. But, she keeps her spirits up. Every day she calls me to give me an update, she starts the conversation by saying: “Hey, it’s just the flu. It’s just the flu. It’s just the flu..”
I’ve never had a problem getting hand sanitizer at my local 7-11. At a nearby liquor store I buy my masks. Always has a box on the counter. 2$ for a mask.
Bleach is 2% hydrocloride. Before the consolidation of food distribution beside independent corner grocery stores there were bleach makers were common all over the place.
Saddam Hussein used to be good at producing massive quantities of chlorine.
So, is that gauzy material in wipes and dryer sheets the same material that is used by medical PPE? If it is it would be worth someones while to make it here. Either the American company brings it home or some enterprising American will set up competition.
Id like to see people get together and demand Amazon put country of origin on all products.
