The image in today’s Q drop is from the Old North CHurch. According to WIkipedia
“Old North Church at 193 Salem Street, in the North End, Boston, is the location from which the famous “One if by land, two if by sea” signal is said to have been sent. This phrase is related to Paul Revere’s midnight ride, of April 18, 1775, “

I know I’m a bit off base, but that pic reminds me of the clock tower in Trump Tower in DC. It’s run by the National Park Service and not many people know about it. Cool views of DC.

I took a pilgrimage to Boston/Lexington/Concord in 1976. I happened to see the two lanterns in Old North Church and the guy who took off on the horse, there by the USS Constitution. P Gerald Ford spoke at the Old North Church. I saw his limo. Boston police about started a riot.

Man, were there a lot of snipers all over that area. I saw a number because I couldn't stand the pushing of the Boston police. Disgusted, I got in the car and drove away, over to see Old Ironsides. Surprisingly, people had mapped out the Revere Ride and were recreating it on concrete roads.

Very serendipitous.
