What is devastating to us as much is the gross overreaction to this virus. In point of fact it is far less let’s have and probably has been spreading much longer than the experts eirh give credence Ron. I personally have been treating non influenza ARDS since late December. It has made little sense until we got alll the testing.
The fact is that the shutdown has been far more dangerous. The numbers are collapsing and given the real data from the individual boards of heartthrob we seem far past the peak. Additionally presumptive dx, af least in NYC are inflating the numbers by at least 50% ( 10,371 confirms mortality and 16,000 or so officially counted)
If presumptive deaths are inflating the numbers this much than the real mortality is about 33% lower which places true mortality in the range of 34,000 nationwide on an every increasing N
The problem here was the abject failure to timely release a shut down once we realized the hospitals are not overwhelmed. If we are treating since December the uncontrolled spread never overwhelmed our resources.
The data and evidence are clear as a bell. For this willing to truly look at it and reasonably analyze what has happened
Oh and FWIW I think it WAS a bio weapon that fizzled. And I think the Chinese now have a much better idea how to harm us and it involves jujitsu — using us against ourselves.

You know as well as I do we have drugs that stop awful diseases — problem is they kill the patient. I fear that is what we have done here with the United States and it’s economy.
