Doctors sound alarm about patients in their 30s and 40s left debilitated or dead. Some didn’t even know they were infected.
The man was among several recent stroke patients in their 30s to 40s who were all infected with the coronavirus. The median age for that type of severe stroke is 74.
As Oxley, an interventional neurologist, began the procedure to remove the clot, he observed something he had never seen before. On the monitors, the brain typically shows up as a tangle of black squiggles — “like a can of spaghetti,” he said — that provide a map of blood vessels. A clot shows up as a blank spot. As he used a needlelike device to pull out the clot, he saw new clots forming in real-time around it.
“This is crazy,” he remembers telling his boss.

But remember the DIC death you see is really due to an exhaustion of the clotting factors, in trauma cases because you are so rapidly replacing “good blood” with “substandard blood bank blood”. In fact we used to experiment a little with trying to “catch the blood” and putting it back in.
No doubt. He’s already getting death threats. But I still find it curious that without this he would have remained a “nobody”. People like DeBakey are the ones who leave legacies. Like Harvey Cushing and Halsted. Surgeons. (Can you tell I’m biased?)

This country is dying from fear because the media is successfully instilling it in people.
Read the Gain fo Function literature. They wanted to create a Super Bug but didn’t want to start with a monster like measles. Even then there was so much concern we had a moratorium on it for years.
The media is doing what a lot of people are doing. Trying to understand something that in the past was only discussed by professionals who had years of experience. Add that to their agenda and you get just bad propaganda. But I do believe the people who are “studying strokes” are earnest. They should be. They are seeing a lot of new patients that are unlike what they are used to.
I know a 40 year old woman who just had a major stroke without coronavirus.

I’m a patient of the Debakey group in Houston. Interesting that he ended up getting the same procedure that he invented (aortic root repair.) He was helping with cases close to the day he died. I am in the watchful waiting stage for an aortic root dilation. Maybe 5 years, hopefully 15. Not looking forward to it. Brutal surgery.

There are some people who believe that a scientist there whose work it was to manipulate viruses was using this virus to try to produce an HIV vaccine. Supposedly there is an HIV fragment in the virus. And due to the very poor lab conditions there the virus was able to get out of the lab.
I have no idea whether there is any truth to this but I have read it multiple times in other scientists interviews.

Happens every day. Look at just ONE cause of “Stroke”. Subarachnoid Aneurysmal Hemmorage. Hunt and Hess in the 1950s. Thousands every year and half die immediately a large percentage go on to die two weeks later when they rebleed (if not provided the benefit of surgery). Hypertensive hemorrhages. Happens every day. In my experience frequently in addition to drugs that rapidly raise the blood pressure, like COcaine and AMphertamine. Kids get AVMs that bleed and produce “strokes”. Stroke is just a word that includes a wide range of differ Neurological events.
My chairman of Surgery was a close friend of DeBakey. He offered me a guaranteed slot in DeBakey’s Fellowhip I’d I would give up my dream of Brain Surgery. I also heard rumors of how DeBakey treated his Residents and Fellows, later I worked with a guy who did DeBakey’s Internship who verified every rumor about him. He treated them like crap. Dog poop was more valuable to him, and frankly why not. If you could survive the treatment your future was GOLDEN. People like him reminded Residents “you can be replaced by a five cent postcard” and they meant it.
What’s next -— septic shock? “Someone” built this virus to do maximum harm.
