The following is a news analysis.
Slanted reporters and outlets, such as the New York Timess Jeremy Peters and Carolyn Ryan; Vanity Fair, and Facebook have worked hard to controversialize and bully certain journalists and scientists reporting factually on coronavirus, and asking rational questions.
It has made it difficult to get reasoned, factual information, at times. As far as some media outlets are concerned, only worst case scenario discussions are to be permitted, even if they are proving wildly wrong.
Now, the far left host of HBOs Real Time, Bill Maher, is calling much of the media coverage on the market including that by left-leaning publications.
Among other comments, Maher refers to panic porn, says Dont hope shame me, What the F is terrifying doing in a headline? You dont have to put hot sauce on a jalapeño and Giving a proper perspective isnt a cover up of the truth; it is the truth.
And finally, Trump calls you fake news. Dont make him be right.
Watch a segment from Maher below:

THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER. You nailed it.
In the olden days, the news media just told us what happened, and we had to decide what we thought about it.
Nowadays, the media tell us what to think about something, and we have to try and decide whether or not it really happened.
H/t to Pookie’s Toons
Hollywood is coming to realize that there is still money in old product and not just the week a title is released to DVD.
The streaming services are doing well with “latest” releases but also “comfort food” old films that people want to watch and classics that they’ve heard about but never watched.
And old films can be something from the 80s or 90s, don’t have to mean OLD.
So much of Hollywood bookkeeping has been focused on the opening weekend of a blockbuster to the rejection of supporting smaller films that will have 20 year lifecycles bringing in money for generations.
We are clearly at an inflection point. Things will not go on as they have been. The world will go in one of two directions:
1) Increased regimentation and authoritarianism. Bigger government, less freedom, no Constitution to speak of.
2) Globalists unmasked. Levers of control disconnected. World economy based on debt to Central Banks re-configured.
I think it will be a rough ride one way or another, but things are either going to get much better or much worse.
Bill Maher out there offering helpful tips for the MSM propaganda organs to be less obvious in their efforts to terrorize the American public.
Gaslighting this nation was far too EASY. Place a few adjectives and adverbs in the right places, call on Trump to lockdown the country, and wait. The people will do themselves in, and they did.
Nowadays, the media tell us what to think about something...
Somehow, now I want to make a joke about an old Fretter appliance commercial.
What is the appeal of this clown? He isn’t funny, he isn’t talented at anything other then being a total jackass.

Much like the movie “Wag The Dog”. If you don’t like the existing narrative, make up sh!t.
