I reckon that Trump’s movie yesterday served to put the Governors on notice that “anything they say can and will be used against them” in the campaign, so they will clam up with the compliments and not repeat that sin. But it matters not because they’re all on tape and the most they can do is say they were lying “then” but being truthful “now”. That’ won’t work.

The media figgers won’t care because lying about Trump is all they do and they can’t stop or care that what they said today contradicts what they said a week ago, or they’d all become so depressed they’d be out on the ledge...

Thank you for your analysis and explanation. I am real dope in these matters.

My insight comes from this thread, and my inspiration came from our own reed13K. From this thread I knew that Trump was the best President ever, that he had built the best economy in history, that coronavirus took it down, that coronavirus wasn't as bad as it was made out to be, and that Trump was ironically using the coronavirus crisis to actually make things even better in the long run. From this thread I knew that the CV crisis was coming to an end, thanks to Trump's actions, including talking up hydroxychloroquine.

After 9/11, the stock market tanked like never before. Within ONE MONTH the stock market was back to pre-9/11 levels. Stock market-wise, coronavirus is just 9/11 in slow motion.

So "local" is defined as "local, as in all the media outlets in the US"?

Or am I mistaken to understand it as "local, as in D.C. media, i.e. the same ones who rotate thru the coronavirus briefings"?

***Finding out that Paula Reid, the CBS reporter that melted down, has a husband that's a lobbyist for China ...***

Wow! Good catch. The incest is pervasive. Maybe that is the source of Trump Derangement Syndrome - too much interbreeding.

mutiny (n.)

“forcible resistance of or revolt against constituted authority on the part of subordinates,” especially “a revolt of soldiers or seamen against their commanding officers,” 1560s, with noun suffix -y (4) + obsolete verb mutine “revolt” (1540s), from Middle French mutiner “to revolt,” from meutin “rebellious,” from meute “a revolt, movement,” from Vulgar Latin *movita “a military uprising,” from fem. past participle of Latin movere “to move” (from PIE root *meue- “to push away”). The Mutiny of the Bounty took place in 1789.

mutiny (v.)

“to revolt against lawful authority, with or without armed resistance, especially in the army or navy,” 1580s, from mutiny (n.). Alternative mutine is recorded from 1550s. Related: Mutinied; mutinying.

mutinous (adj.)

“engaged in or disposed to mutiny,” 1570s, from mutine (see mutiny (n.)) + -ous. Related: Mutinously; mutinousness.

mutineer (n.)

“one guilty of mutiny, person in military or naval service who openly resists authority of his officers,” c. 1600, from French mutinier (16c.), from Middle French meutin “rebellious” (see mutiny (n.)). The earlier noun was mutine (1580s). As a verb from 1680s.

____________________________________________________________

bounty (n.)

late 13c., “a gift, a reward, a favor bestowed freely;” c. 1300, “goodness, virtue; beauty; ; excellence; knightly prowess, strength, valor, chivalry,” early 14c., “a helpful act, an act of generosity, a good deed,” also “liberality in giving, generosity, munificence,” from Anglo-French bountee, Old French bonte “goodness” (12c., Modern French bonté), from Latin bonitatem (nominative bonitas) “goodness,” from bonus “good” (see bonus).

Sense of “gift bestowed by a sovereign or the state” led to extended senses of “premium or gratuity to a military recruit” (1702) and “reward for killing or taking a criminal or enemy” (1764) or dangerous animal (1847). Bounty-jumper “one who enlists in the military, collects the bounty, and flees without reporting for duty” is from the American Civil War (by 1864). Bounty-hunter is from 1893, American English, originally in reference to wild animals.

I do ... promise, that there shall be paid ... the following several and respective premiums and Bounties for the prisoners and Scalps of the Enemy Indians that shall be taken or killed .... [”Papers of the Governor of Pennsylvania,” 1764]

____________________________________________________________

This gets more weird by the minute.

Mutiny = “a revolt of soldiers or seamen against their commanding officers,”

Bounty = I do ... promise, that there shall be paid ... the following several and respective premiums and Bounties for the prisoners and Scalps of the Enemy Indians that shall be taken or killed .... [”Papers of the Governor of Pennsylvania,” 1764]

::Hard to imagine Brennan flipping. He seems like the worst of the worst. :@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

All of these wannabe players cry like babies when the end comes! They will not stand and meet their fate as men, they run and hide but the people will find them and they will be punished. Hitler, Mussoli, Osama, etc. feel free to add to the list.....

Anyone can be a front runner especially when they have the support of crooked gov and Gov weapons (along with jackbooted thugs). Not everyone can be a Minuteman and shout “Give me Liberty or give me Death!”

These people live under the rule of “License” not LIBERTY! Liberty is a gift from God, license and licentious living are an illusion of Satan. God prevails!

Amen. Trump’s calmness is a great asset in such contexts.

Would be satisfying to see him give them a harsh back-handed smack-down but not as Presidential or effective as his calmness.

Though, on occasion, it might be exceedingly warranted & sometimes powerfully effective.

Thanks for that info. I loved seeing Trump smack her.

I think Brennen’s eyes, face etc. indicate he’s about as sold-out to satan as HRC. I think it’s durn near an impossibility for him to flip—particularly short of a Damascus road experience even more intense than St Paul’s.

And he doesn’t have St Paul’s stance. St Paul was rabidly killing Christians because he thought honestly that that was what the God of Jacob wanted. He mostly needed brought up to true realities.

Brennen will not tolerate any other construction on reality than his black-hearted one from Marxist globalist hell.

I looked up the movie. Is POTUS supposed to be one of the characters? From the synopsis, it doesn’t look like ANY of the characters are the good guy.

POTUS has to be the captain, the mutineers were court marshaled.

I would love to see your source for that. I looked and found her hubby works for an international company and got a masters in Peking U. But hoping you have more details. Thanks.

Think Q is saying the picture is not complete, there are 29 additional connections nationally and 98 local.

Thinking the same way. Makes the most sense given the context of the post.

Go Trump - MAGA
Go Melania aka Lady MAGA

Sorry, I don’t understand that. Wouldn’t the local connections be a subset of national connections, and thereby the smaller number?

No. The issue is geography & local jurisdictions/areas of media influence, operation.

D.C. & New York City mostly comprise the key National centers of media power. They are relatively few but super powerful.

Local towns, villages, cities are numerous with their inherent, embedded media outlets & personalities. But they are not so powerful as to influence vast geographies—in most cases. If a local media outlet or personage becomes really powerful, they usually get a slot on the NYC/D.C. lineup.

Whoa!! WTH!?!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a green screen effect. I've seen the same thing this week on company video conferences where participants are playing around with their background.
One of the most famous green screen FAKE NEWS events was when Wolf Blitzer made his rep for broadcasting from a rooftop in Baghdad during the early stages of Desert Storm.
HE WAS NEVER THERE. He was safe in Atlanta the whole time.
That's the way I read it, local is the media in the local areas and not broadcasted nationally.
72 seconds reminded me that in the movie, Mutiny on the Bounty’s mutineers wanted to stay in Fiji with the young island girls.
And of course they wanted to be “natural men.”
I forgot that movie, it has been so long since I saw it last.
MOB was a favorite movie of mine too.
