Hmm - so an N95, that blocks 95 percent of the bad particles, makes the chance a _little_ smaller?
95% smaller is a little smaller?
Your logic is sort of like wearing a lifejacket in the dessert.
Sure, it helps protect you from Drowning ...

If their are no particles to block why wear a N95 mask?
So, make sure your cloth mask has two layers and a slot for inserting filters, and use 8 layers of paper toweling as your filter!
re: “.I was told that wearing a dust mask wouldnt trap the virus...if any old cloth can trap it, why cant a dust mask?”
Ever seen an “oil-bath” air cleaner for farm equipment?
Use tape.
“”Ever seen an oil-bath air cleaner for farm equipment?””

How does that go - “I don’t know, can you?”

i just looked at the contents of microfiber - it’s all some sort of plastic. I won’t be using that anymore

“When I go to the store I wear a mask because it makes those around me feel better.”
Last week I was in the store with my mask, googles and trench coat. An older gal (no mask or anything) started to come down my aisle. She took one look at me and turned around!
Maybe tomorrow when I go on my weekly shopping spree (shop for four families) things will be different.
tonsil-liths?
Excellent simple experiment.
You don’t know when there are “some” and when there are “none.”
How many does it take to infect you?
“You dont know when there are some and when there are none.”
I really don’t care whether there is some or none. The risk with either is very low so a mask is not needed.
