Our friend’s SIL here in GA just got diagnosed with covid 19. She feels somewhat sick. She asked the medical people what should she do. They shrugged and sent her home with no drugs or prescriptions. You tell me how serious it is.
Get back to us on Day 10 with no drugs. Tell us what that person has been through.
We’ll see, I guess. I hope she gets better soon.

She’s (so far) in the luckier 80% of infected that don’t have serious or critical cases. Hopefully she stays that way, but there is no guarantee of it. If her case progresses beyond “mild” (which is any set of symptoms that does not require hospitalization) to serious or critical, well, that sucks. Will it change your mind about the disease? In the mean time, she simply isn’t a bad enough case for them to deal with. Just like most flu cases that seek medical attention, she was sent home to get better. Note that they did not tell her to go around infecting others to build up that herd immunity.
US deaths are well over 10,000 now, so why do you keep saying 7300?
