The relations outside groups are more rare than inside. You might infect a very limited number of people inside your group and then if they pract8ce isolation it won’t spread further.

Funny you should say that.
Thing is, everyone has to go out sometime to guy buy food and a whole range of essential life sustaining supplies even in quarantines. Once you are in the shop, you can just get infected or spread the disease to anyone you even come close to while picking what you want to buy.
I was in the grocery shop yesterday and I was thinking the same thing.

First time I ever heard of Flushing having overcrowded tenements. Brings uo an image out of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Actually Flushing has always been middle class people in one or two family homes or along Northern Blvd and Roosevelt Avenue in comfortable apartment buildings. Though your description of multi generations living together is accurate in many cases.

You’re welcome to take Lukashenko’s word on it, but I know enough about that country to have a different take.

OK here is how it work. There are plenty of middle class, upper class Chinese, doctors, lawyers, rich businessmen etc, who live in pretty nice houses away from the Flushing Main Street. Even they still live with their grandparents/parents. The Chinese stringly believe in looking after their old folks.
Then we have the poorer, more recant immigrants from China, who can barely speak any English and do any menial jobs they can find. They tend o live in overcrowded tenements. They probably have born the brunt of the very high incidence of coronavirus in Queens.
It's big dichotomy. I have seen more Ferrari's and Lamborghini's in Flushing than anywhere else. At the same time, I have seen some of the poorest people in new York in Flushing too. Like anything else, the poor and the leas healthy will suffer most.

Put on a mask or a respirator, wear gloves and disenfect your hands, then put your purchases and clothes under UV light.

I don't have to take antibody’s word on it. I can look at the number of dead, which at the time of writing the article is ZERO.
How is Italy doing with their total countrywide lock-down now in force for over 4 weeks? Over 13,000 dead, albeit most of them old folks with ore existing conditions.

I don’t have to take antibody’s word on it = I don’t have to take anybody’s word on it

Ah well.

At least it’s an idea. Everyone hit “pause” on life doesn’t understand the human experience. Some people may, some people will rebel against being told what to do. As mentioned above you still go out for essentials, still touching “fresh fruits” and a number of other things, if for no other reason than habit. What’s essential for me may not be essential for you. Planning life on this scale is just not realistic, especially in a free society. Plus, hearing the numbers even in a quarantined environment makes it seem like it’s not doing much good anyways

I had recently read a book about respiratory infections. It is absolutely possible to avoid it.

Apparently ozone will also kill viruses. A small ozone generator costs less than $100.

Virus is a very fragile thing while outside the human body. Everything kills it.

Some are saying Covid-19 can last as long as 72 hours. Not sure under what conditions, but does not seem realistic unless the conditions were perfect.

It can last for weeks in a cool dry place. Not so much under the sun.
