“Herd Immunity” might not be all it’s cracked up to be when dealing with coronaviruses. Looking at a similar virus, MERS-COV, 7 of 9 of survivors evaluated had no antibody response at 18 months. The 2 of 9 that did have a response at 18 months were the severe cases (severe pneumonia).

The coronaviruses that cause the common cold do not infer immunity, and in studies, “human volunteers who agreed to be experimentally inoculated with a seasonal coronavirus showed that even people with preexisting antibodies could still get infected and have symptoms”.
SARS-COV on the other hand, seems to produce a much more persistent immune response.
I’m sure every person in this country, barring population control advocates and politically motivated democrats, hope SARS-COV2 infection infers immunity, and that as few people as possible die of this disease. But I don’t believe there has ever been a case of “Herd Immunity” with a coronavirus. At this point, I don’t think we know enough about SARS-COV2 to make a major public health decision to allow it to spread through the population. In fact, it would be an act of desperation that could leave us right where we started, but with a severely degraded healthcare system and hundreds of thousands dead.
Captain wants just a skeletal crew of 10 % to keep reactor operational and sanitize the ship. Guam doesn’t want to cough up a hotel.
My guess is that is God really wanted our nation to go under, some idiot would have burned down Franklin Graham’s field hospital in Central Park by now.

I would personally suggest that she take the cannulu, since lower oxygen levels can cause organ damage. Can’t blame her for avoiding the respirator; apparently your chances on a respirator with this crap are not good. I hope she gets better soon.
what local businesses do you speak of that you’re jonesing for, that you cannot get their product mailed/delivered to you? Or is it the social contact you’re missing?

There are a few US soldiers in Korea that tested positive again. Couple weeks after testing cured. Then you have to consider immunity for strains ?

I’d like to see the rate of reinfection rates/comparison between patients who contracted, and recovered, then were reinfected....vs....patients who contracted, and were giving the HCQ/Zyth regimen.
I thougt I’d read something that there were NO traces of the disease found, days later, in the tests ran on those who had the HCQ protocol.
He should not be talking much at all if he is sick. You expel significant water droplets when just talking.
