I know it sounds like an April Fools’ headline. But it is not. On March 30, MSNBC host Craig Melvin asked Rev. T. D. Jakes to pray for America in the midst of the coronavirus scare. Melvin even bowed his head as Jakes prayed. This is a sign of the times. Americans are turning to God.
And note this: Jakes prayed in Christs name. On live, national TV. On MSNBC. Did I say this was not April Fools’?
Melvin said, For folks who arent able to get to church yesterday, Ive never actually done this on the air. Can you lead us in prayer for 30 seconds?
That is an answer to prayer. I have been praying that this time of contagion would cause people to see the Lord. PTL!
As for me, I’m going to be calling my doctor’s office and moving my May appointment. This island won’t be opening its ports before the ports to other countries close. IOW, I’m not getting off this island for some time. Good thing it was a follow-up appointment and not a major crucial appointment.
What is weird to me is that this island full of weird tropical diseases is healthier than many parts of the world. Staying put may be the safest option.
So, unless something opens up in the next 24-hours, here I am and here I be.
VIP, I am praying especially for you.
Does Craig Melvin still have a job on MSNBC?
I can imagine the howling from the few people watching his program.
I don’t even know who he is but know who yhe Rev. T. D. Jakes is.
Whoa! Prayer? On msdnc? That was quite a shock first thing in the morning! Great news! Praise God!
In times of crisis the GOD-less often turn to GOD as a form of insurance - just in case...

Good morning ma. Uplifting post. Thanks.
