It’s not too hard to clip a dog if you are feeling adventurous. I use an Oster with a #10 blade and take my time and spray the blade with lubricant. They look pretty rough for a week or so, but it’s not like anyone is going to see them 😂

We are wrestling with #Pathogenlottery as well. Prescriptions need to be retrieved for both humans and animals. We are fine on everything for daily living but medical needs are an issue. Strict protocols will be in order.

I had a giant maine coon cat we sheared with clippers every Spring.

He looked like a shorn sheep but he seemed to be much happier when it got hot later on.

Hmmm. Thank you for that info. I cannot imagine that they would do this for a shot. I’ma have to call them and inquire.

But overall deaths are way down since so many are staying home. In week 10 of 2020 for the US 9 thousand people are alive that would normally be dead. A nugget of data you won’t hear much about.

Agreed—fortunately most senior citizens have figured out that they better stay away from hospitals—which means they need to stay home.

It was a two person job.

But the clipper itself probably felt like it was ‘petting’ him so he wasn’t too frisky.

It wasn’t an ‘all the cat at once’ thing either. We did it over the course of a few days.

I joked we could have taken the ‘wool’, spun it, and made a sweater that half the population would have been allergic to LOL.

I cannot tell from this article if these are US forces, or S. Korea :

Navy sailor tests positive for coronavirus again after full recovery

SEOUL, March 31 (Yonhap) — A Navy sailor has tested positive again for the new coronavirus after having fully recovered from the disease, the defense ministry said Tuesday.

The sailor stationed on the southern island of Jeju was released from a hospital last week after recovering fully from the COVID-19 virus following monthlong treatment.

But he redeveloped symptoms while in preventive quarantine, and tested positive again Tuesday, officials said, adding that he was immediately sent to a hospital.

Last week, two other military personnel — an Army officer and an Air Force contractor — were found to have contracted the virus again after making full recoveries.

Apparently “Masks are Bad” is FNC’s theme of the day. Dr. Seigel is now on saying masks send messages of fear, it causes you to wash your hands more (aren’t they tellin us to wash our hands frequently?) and it gives a false sense of security, etc.

Ya know, all this talk of how horrific little pieces of fabric are makes me more concerned what “their” plan/goal is.

BELGIUM

BRUSSELS — Belgian authorities say a 12-year-old girl has died of the coronavirus, by far the youngest person among the more than 700 victims in the country.

Announcing the news Tuesday, national crisis-center coronavirus spokesman Emmanuel Andre said it is “an emotionally difficult moment, because it involves a child, and it has also upset the medical and scientific community.”

“We are thinking of her family and friends. It is an event that is very rare, but one which upsets us greatly,” Andre said. No details about the girl were provided.

He said that 98 people had died from the disease over the last 24 hours, bringing the total toll to 705 in a country of around 11.5 million people. More than 12,705 cases have been confirmed in total so far.

Andre said that Belgian authorities expect the spread of the disease to reach its peak in coming days, and that “we will arrive at a point where we’re close to saturation point at our hospitals.”

Do you know what happened to make Norwalk balloon in cases? I am thinking just lots of working joes, like cops, nurses, etc., still on the job and getting exposed...

Chris Martenson’s favorite two lines on the malfeasance of public officials:

“You are on your own.”

“It didn’t have to be this way.”

We saw the Fairfield County explosion coming several weeks ago (though I don’t know why Norwalk was hit harder than other neighboring towns).

Patient Zero in NY commuted from New Rochelle to Grand Central Station—the same train station where Metro North takes Fairfield County CT commuters.

Patient Zero in CT was a NY doctor who did the rounds in Bridgeport and Danbury hospitals when he was showing no symptoms.

Dr. Seigel playing head games now too?

Right. And Greenwich was hit early with all its commuters into the City. Westport had the big party with 40+ infected from that. Stamford has now passed Greenwich with its larger and closer population. Likewise it is getting up into Hartford and New Haven. Originally the more upscale West Hartford, with its presumed international travel, was hit early, but now regular Hartford has taken over with its scale and city transmission.

CT is a microcosm of what is taking place now across the country. It’s a race of the delayed spread against the hopes of summer and treatments.

NYC just getting more painful by the hour.
