Well as I see it you’ve got to think and plan ahead as best you know how. When the Governors say they might do this or that I plan according to it actually happening.

I’ve decided not to go shopping during the “Senior” shopping hours because they’re ‘more likely’ to come down with the virus......Instead I check parking lots before I go in to get an idea of how many people might be inside....then I avoid aisle with people which actually makes for interesting shopping.....like trying to dodge potentially armed shooters!

I see that Hannity has now come around, and is no longer a flubro.

He just said....while reporting from the USNS Comfort....

I want to be clear. Everybody buckle up...we’re about to experience, what will be a very hard, a very difficult, very emotionally draining next couple of weeks.

Only if you have old ones that are worn out and ready to toss.

Otherwise, they’d make the world’s most expensive face masks.

Yeah, we should get our parents where they can get infected by their grandkids!
Other factors too. My mom loves it there. My rich (and good and beloved by her) brother tried to talk her out and couldn’t.

No rent increases for residential renters in Los Angeles, per
@MayorOfLA
, until crisis is over. Also, new ordinance will prevent evictions, and give residents 12 months to repay back rent. 3 months for commercial renters.

Update: The ordinance suspended city foreclosures on unpaid taxes by landlords, and gave landlords twelve months to repay back property taxes...

Not!

I used Instant Cart twice and I did tip the guy who brought the food out and told him to split it with the girl who put the ord3r together.

I realize that’s probably a minimum wage job and they are doing me a HUGE favor by doing it.

And I don’t blame them for wanting to be supplied with what they need to work safely.

I've been doing the same thing.

The only advantage with the seniors hours is there is far less likely aerosolized virus around.

But when I see someone in an aisle, I head for another one.

behind a paywall
Viral load. I first heard about it, as you may have done too, via social media. A letter, supposedly from an ICU (intensive care unit) doctor, popped up on Instagram on Tuesday morning, March 24th, warning that this was one reason it why, when it comes to the coronavirus, it is so important to avoid groups of people, even if you are young and healthy.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/health-fitness/body/reduce-covid-19-viral-load/
“Remember this: VIRAL LOAD. There will be a lot about this, why is it important?” the letter stated. “With this virus, the amount of virus in your blood at first infection directly relates to the severity of the illness you will suffer.” It went on to explain how being in a group, “say in a pub or religious building or entertainment venue with 200 people and a large number don’t have symptoms, but are shedding, you are breathing in lots of droplets per minute and absorbing a high dose of the virus.”...

That’s what’s supposed to happen to the airborne stuff.

I’ve heard it only hangs around for a few hours. First thing in the morning and there’s far less likelihood of encountering anything that can hurt you.

New research has shed light on a crucial biological mechanism that may have helped the coronavirus to infect humans and spread rapidly around the world.

WI

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin is preparing to open field hospitals and voluntary isolation centers in anticipation of a surge in COVID-19 patients, with cases expected to peak in another week or more, Gov. Tony Evers and state health leaders said Monday.

“We are headed into the worst of this, folks,” Evers said on a conference call. “I’m sure many of us would like to wake up from this nightmare tomorrow morning and say it never happened. But the responsible thing is to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.”
