LA is going to need all the HCQ they can get.

"Hundreds of worshippers attended services at a Louisiana church on Sunday, flouting a ban on large gatherings, angering neighbors and seemingly turning a deaf ear to their governor, who once again warned that hospitals could soon be overwhelmed with new cases of the coronavirus. An estimated 500 people of all ages filed inside the mustard-yellow and beige Life Tabernacle church in Central, a city of nearly 29,000 outside Baton Rouge."

NY congresswoman diagnosed with coronavirus days after sharing podium with colleagues

By Steven Nelson

March 30, 2020 | 3:47pm | Updated

WASHINGTON — New York Rep. Nydia Velázquez has been diagnosed with coronavirus, just days after she shared a speaking lectern and microphone with dozens of House colleagues.

The Brooklyn Democrat placed an open palm on a shared microphone’s foam Friday morning during debate on the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill, moving the device closer to her face, before draping her hands on a lectern that held her notes.

And a seat occupied by Velázquez toward the rear of the House chamber was subsequently filled by a different congresswoman. All Democrats who spoke after her shared the same podium and mic.

27 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported at Tucson nursing facility
Posted Mar 30, 2020, 12:25 pm

A Tucson nursing home and rehab center has reported 27 confirmed coronavirus cases among its staff and patients. Sapphire of Tucson, on the South Side, announced the test results Monday morning.

The facility, just south of Banner UMC South — the former Kino Hospital — has 24 residents and 3 staffers who tested positive for the virus, company representatives said.

“As soon as the first patient showed symptoms, we were immediately in touch with the Pima County Department of Health,” the company said in a news release.

“The source of the infection is unclear and remains under investigation,” the company said.

There are 187 reported confirmed cases of COVID-19 patients in Pima County, among 1,157 in Arizona. 6 have died here, among 20 deaths across the state.

“We continue to collaborate closely with Arizona Department of Health Services and county health officials. We are also in contact multiple times a day with additional health experts in Tucson, ensuring we are taking every possible step to provide the appropriate care to all our residents,” said representatives for Sapphire, a 240-bed facility near East Ajo Way and South Country Club Road.

NY alone headed toward 100,000 diagnosed cases by Wednesday.

Likely a million actually infected.

Geez.

Such poor excuses for leadership. The tribe will soon turn on the chief.

PUBLISHED: March 30, 2020 at 12:53 p.m. | UPDATED: March 30, 2020 at 1:50 p.m.
The first person under the age of 40 in Colorado has died after contracting the novel coronavirus, Gov. Jared Polis announced Monday during a mid-day press conference.

“Again showing the severity of this virus for people of all ages,” he said, before emphasizing that about 80% of COVID-19 of cases do not require hospitalization and will self-resolve.

Polis announced new statewide numbers — a partial count, since full data is usually made public around 4 p.m. each day — and said 51 people now have died in Colorado from complications of the new coronavirus. There are now 2,627 total confirmed cases of the virus in 47 of Colorado’s 64 counties, with 414 people having been hospitalized. A total of 15,364 people have now been tested.

Aside from the motorcycle morons who will waste a hospital bed, it looks like most places are taking the stay home to heart.

My neighborhood was party central over the weekend, sigh.

The first time I ever saw a ghetto was on Galveston island (TX). People there have never crossed the bridge to the mainland.
