The 2020 Democratic National Convention
is not till July 13 to 16.
I don’t think Joe is going to last that long.
They can keep trying but it looks like
they will have to keep hiding him
or replace him before the DNC.
Can you imagine how many people
are disappointed in him?

Here’s the DNC’s plan. First they needed Joe to knock off Crazy Bernie soon to be the owner of four homes. Then let the convention nominate Joe. However the convention is screwed up due to primaries being cancelled. Then at the end of August, the DNC will remove
Joe from the ticket due to mental fatigue. As Cuomo will give the keynote speech and he has been auditioning this week for the job look for Cuomo to be the standard bearer. Then the VP will be Harris. That’s my story and I am sticking to it.
It's too late for him to run but he could be nominated at the convention if Biden decides to withdraw for health reasons. Let him. Just imagine all of the election ads highlighting what a disaster New York has become under his leadership along with a caption like "Do you want him to do to America what he's done to New York?"

Harris is not eligible. Neither parent was a US citizen when she was born.
My only possible regret is that he might have a stroke
between now and November. That's how dementia and Alzheimer's causes death. Typical the patient suffers a brain aneurysm or a stroke that eventually brings about heart failure. That's how my mother passed away. If Biden strokes out we could end up with Cuomo. He could be a problem.
He could always be drafted at the DNC convention. Watch out for Cuomo. He could be the Dem’s ‘’dark horse’’.
You got a point there. I don’t see Cuomo appealing to the heart land folks. Still he’s someone to watch out for. Politics is a funny business. Stranger things have happened, so to speak.

Interesting that we have not had a sighting or a peep.
So that the nomination of Hillary could be made at the convention in a backroom by the party’s leadership.
In this way Hillary could get the nomination without being worn out in the primary like she was 2016.
Hillary will be fresh as a daisy when she goes up against Trump this time.
Trump on the other hand (in the Democrat’s mind) will be exhausted from being President during the pandemic and impeachment.

Cuomo is trying to save a single state and he’s still going to be doing that in July. He doesn’t have time to campaign for anything. He’s also doing that with the help of a President who’s working to save a nation, an economy, and all the other problems a national leader deals with.
If the Democrats seize on Cuomo as an an alternative to the increasingly troubling Biden, they will lose any Sanders voters they hoped might come aboard. Sanders is staying in the race to pick up the pieces when Biden finally falls apart. As reluctant as he might be to do it personally, Sanders now has to savage Biden at their next debates to show the party how unfit he is to be President.
With real doubts about his own fitness long term and his difficulties emerging on the campaign trail, Biden’s selection for a woman VP candidate will be critical. She will not only act as a surrogate for him to an unprecedented degree but also faces a real possibility of actually having to assume office. However, Joe cannot hide from debating PDJT and the President will probably set a grueling pace in the general campaign. That will be tough on whoever the Democrat nominee is.
This may all prove to be academic in the end if the President is able to maintain his current popularity.

They waste people’s time with 20+ canidates, screw over the one that had some grassroots backing, and then kick out the guy that won by default for Cuomo because he’s “trending” on social media, and have a person that bombed miserably in the primaries as VP?
You make some sound points. Cuomo has made a mess of New York state. People are leaving in large numbers. DeBlasio is the worst mayor the city ever had and people are leaving it too.
