Does anyone know if the sick number is irregular?
I know there are over 38,000 in uniform there.
But it sounds ominous.

It is ominous.
Daily update of projected (not predicted) confirmed cases.
Good news. The number of new reported cases came in 41% BELOW yesterday’s projections. Instead of getting 15,066 new cases today, we only got 8,896. Keep in mind that I get my numbers shortly before midnight, EST, so the daily case increase will not be the same as is reported by Hopkins or Worldometers.
Todays rate of increase: 19.3%

Coronavirus Pandemic Update 43: Shortages, Immunity, & Can a TB Vaccine (BCG) Help Prevent COVID-19?
Research by the British Medical Journal and others has suggested that a century-old vaccine against tuberculosis (BCG) may also provide some protection against other infections. A variety of trials around the world are investigating if this TB vaccine may help prevent COVID-19. Dr. Seheult illustrates how our innate immunity differs from acquired immunity and how these systems work in tandem to fight infection. Recent coronavirus developments in New York and monitoring tools are also discussed.

Coronavirus Pandemic Update 42: Immunity to COVID-19 and is Reinfection Possible?
With medical professionals, supplies, and equipment in short supply during the coronavirus pandemic, understanding how viral antibodies and immunity works (and the possibility of reinfection) is a key concept. Dr. Seheult reviews an encouraging pre-print (non-peer-reviewed) study that showed that COVID-19 re-infection was not observed in a primate called macaques.

Good news, if true. It is from Gateway Pundit :- /
Thanks.
That IS good news.
Many thanks. I emailed that to my friends with the title, “American Heroes”.
Think most people who died under 50 also had underlying health conditions. But hey, who does not nowadays.
I'd be interested in knowing what percentage of the market is held by 401(k)s. I have a feeling it's not enough to have that significant an effect on the market. But I don't know that. It's only my gut telling me that. So I did a very quick google search, and it looks like a rough estimate might be 37%, without looking into it any further. So maybe I'm wrong. It'd be interesting to know.
And give McConnell a big hug for making them show up at all. His decision not to allow electronic appearances and voting made the delay possible.

“As the economy continues to slow in the wake of the COVID-19 (or coronavirus) outbreak, seemingly all industries are beginning to feel the squeeze via uncertainty and supply shortages powersports brands such as Polaris being no exception.
A recent report from Reuters detailed how manufacturers throughout China are struggling to meet production requirements previously agreed upon. While some delays began before the virus officially began in the U.S., its increasing spread has only exasperated issues.
Right now, were looking at a couple of weeks, said Scott Wine, CEO of Polaris. The company is currently waiting on delivery of axles needed for its Slingshot.”

Countries are starting to hoard food, threatening global trade
The US is OK here, even with anticipated price increases.
But how many knew that Germany and ITALY are net food importers?
Italy?
I hope you don't count those hot dogs that turn on the rollers under the warming lamp as food.
