A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
You sure have nice views where you live!
Some day, I just really need a floof!
Good morning.
The views yesterday were stupendously, gorgeously amazing. I keep forgetting how great they really are. I DO live in a very beautiful place, where the scenery changes with every mile driven.
Welp, it looks as if the relapse is going to be long, ugly and stupendously aggravating. I can’t spell, and that’s a starter. The log-keeping will be tedious.
One morning, afternoon, and evening at a time.
I remember times when felt like that. “You made it to lunchtime,” I would tell myself. “You made it to 5:00 p.m.” “A shower! Today you got a shower!”
Inch by inch. Maybe you’ll surprise yourself. (Also, nobody’s checking your spelling, so just roll with it ;-)
Thanks!
Real Brother sent me home with some spendy chocolate syrup, and it’s to die for!!
So yah, I hear ya. “I made it out of bed,” is often The Accomplishment Of The Day. I won’t complain. Too loudly, I hope, but I’ll also try not to be too obnoxious.
You can always complain at me.
Thanks! Be careful what you wish for...a letter will be on the way on Monday. :o]
I’m sure I can handle it.
Wow. Morning Kitteh is begging to be skritched!
Good morning.
I’ve had my shower, and listened to a talk while working a jigsaw, and now, I need to go make my bed.
Life has a way of catching up with me. I started to write to my Favorite Son, but got side-tracked. I need to get back to it. I also need to get busy on the Dragon software, and get back up to speed on it so I can get these stories done.
I want to get a frame for the high school water color, but Ace Hardware is far too expensive. I’ll check with Michael’s online and see what they have.
Real Brother has framed all the originals of the cards he has made and has either given them to his offspring or put them on his walls. This water color is something that only he and I and our Unreal Brother would want, since we’re the only siblings who went there.
So I would love to frame it so I can hang it.
Good morning! Kathleen has a sunburn after spending all day yesterday at her friend’s mermaid-themed, watersliding, birthday party.
I’ve made sandwiches for the homeless mission, which I will leave at church later for the delivery volunteer, and my next thing will be to sort another load of laundry.
The painting is really nice. Your Real Brother has done some very good work.
Oh, T-c, his house was filled with his paintings! My dad was prolific at painting, but most of his were sold to help feed the family. Real Brother has kept most of his in the family.
So the least I can do is get it framed. There were a few on his walls that I would like to have had, but I got the feeling I “wasn’t worthy.” It’s OK. I got to see them, and not many people outside his immediate family will ever see them.
I commented on one of a tree that was quite large and hung on his living room wall (cathedral ceiling) and it said it took him longer to stretch the canvas than it did to paint the painting. (He also makes his own frames.)
He also did one that gave me chills. It was almost an exact copy of one I did when I was 16, and he was way off in Idaho, doing things that actually set him on the road to success: Selling Kirby vacuums!
I’m so fond of vacuums ...
Since museums are closed, it sounds like your brother’s house was a good opportunity.
Jake is sleeping in a corner of the bedroom, so I’m taking this opportunity to wash his purple plush dinglebob blanket.
It was, indeed a good opportunity to see paintings! I frankly enjoyed every single one I looked it and could never have gotten tired of looking at his art work. That kind of talent could only have come from our dad. :o]
I just got done writing to my Favorite Son. He’s probably not going to be pleased with what I’ve written, if he even reads the entire letter. He gets bored with them. I still don’t know if its just mine or all letters.
I could text my favorite son and tell him to come get his mail ...
But right now, I need to put on my official choir outfit of the day - black skirt, blue blouse - and get ready for Mass.
It would be nice if I could go to church, but “we” seniors, as a group, are discouraged, even though I have an “up regulated” immune system.
So I’m staying home again. :o[
Someday you’ll get there.
Yes, I will! Hopefully, it won’t be too much longer.
