My heart sinks as I hear more and more disgusting “f the elderly, they’re going to die anyway” talk. Very heartbreaking, selfish and really shows the narcissistic nation that we have become. It more than angers me. My mom is in her nineties. A bitter nasty person who I don’t much like, but I love her despite her inner anger issues and only wish life and good things for.

Simply incredible to hear such lack of caring.

Also the “yeah yeah let’s restrict elective surgeries, but don’t stop killing the unborn babies”

Same mindset.

The Nazis called these “disposable” people groups the
Unternenschen...the non-people, the sub-humans, who they rationalized, “deserved” to die.

This is the month the mask came off, and it was straight out of a horror movie.

I have always had a pessimistic view of human nature--that most folks were closer to apes than angels, particularly under stress--but this is even worse than I thought.

The young people needed to be scared straight, with graphic images of young people in bio suits tubed up to ventilators--unfortunately it is the only language some of them understand.
