Yukon does great in GA, many soft skin potatoes do. The UGA extension site has lots of good info about the best plant varieties.
I assume you grow vegetables for the commercial market?
No, just for us.
I have a small dairy farm.
Sounds like Birx this morning, her hot spot targeting, except for a major problem, interstate travel, even county to county.

Were not slowing it and it is accelerating on its own, Cuomo said at a press conference Tuesday. He said the state is now projecting it will need more hospital beds and a lot sooner than previously thought. The state now estimates it will need 140,000 hospital beds, up from previous projections of 110,000. That apex could be, they project, 14 to 21 days away.
Little tricky to use but you can get a rough estimate of what type of soil you have here, https://websoilsurvey.sc.egov.usda.gov/App/HomePage.htm
Click the big green button to get started. It’s not accurate down to an acre but it did tell me I have two different soils here and the descriptions were spot on. The locations of the two soil types were off but they’re visibly different colors so it’s easy enough for me to see the difference. I have some almost white soil that they call, “silt” & “somewhat excessively drained”. Sure enough, shortly after a rain, I can dig a couple of inches down and it’s almost dry. That really light colored soil has almost no organic content, no nutrients and scrub grass and moss are the only things that will grow in it, aside from trees. My other soil is light brown Clayey Loam and is considered Prime Farmland soil. Hardly any rocks and easy to dig. All subsoils here are clay.
I think most of Georgia will grow stuff decently but all clay soils should be amended. Compost.
Remember the graph President Trump, try a state by state, county by county leveling graphs, with travel restrictions under penalty
Fascinating, great way to save space and bring organization to a garden. Thanks for the tip.
May need to plant some then. I always look forward to soft skin red potatoes, boiled, with snap beans and cornbread in the spring. ;)

The woman, who was in her late 70s, was not diagnosed with covid-19 until after she died, officials said, and she had not traveled recently.
Officials said she had other health issues that may have delayed the recognition of covid-19.
