WhatsApp is also unique in that it offers end-to-end encrypted service, which means only the senders and recipients—not the platform itself—can see the content of messages. While encryption makes the platform secure and protects privacy, can be a double-edged sword. Governments have asked WhatsApp to break its encryption to aid with criminal investigations; so far, the platform has refused.

Yes, and we have FReepers REVELING in their alarmist/hysteria inducing postings. President Trump has mobilized our national resources, we have meds that have been proven to clear the virus and restore most infected individuals to health or to the degree of health they had before. We have even more new meds and vaccines “in the pipeline” to be tested.
Now we need, in a non-hysterical way, to protect the elderly and health compromised from infection. For those who become infected we need to have them rapidly receive needed medications. We do need to continue practicing social distancing and good hygiene practices.
We’ve got this folks... let’s go forward in a rational manner.

The National Guard “lock down” and Martial Law is the latest spew from the miss-information stream. The trolls help spewing with their a-hole comments. It is all very coordinated actually.

Like a stopped clock, and all other news outlets.
A few years back they had a fantastic offer on subscriptions.
So I gave them out for Christmas, and it was lots of fun.

One friend that is more on the liberal side, was worried that he would be on an FBI watch list!
We still joke about it.
