Good point .
I read posts that are dismissing comments outing the CCP real agenda and actions since Dec .
I had to ask one if they were a paid troll.
They fled.
Radar up.
The Grand Princess must have been a Just a Flu Bro cruise.
When my wife first moved out here to the woods where we live she hated it. Now she is very thankful every day to be in the USA, and very happy to live in the country.
The in laws are semi retired in China, except for nephews/nieces who work, but they endure huge lines to get into the factory grounds each day. They know its among them, as some get sick each day. They are not allowed to report it.
Damn ghouls at CNN are gloating and salivating.
Miserable knuckle-draggers!
“that scares me”
Me, too, Rummy. And it tears at my heart.
Lots of hard decisions coming our way.
I’m an independent contractor and was supposed to be off this week then back to work on Tuesday. I can take off all I want, theoretically, but there is pressure to work from others. I understand that. I could stay home with my wife and kids for 4 months if I wanted to, but I’d rather work.
I had planned my last work trip so that I would be getting back last weekend, which I did, home on Sunday. It’s the time I was expecting things to start getting bad. I’ve been following this pandemic closely.
The news was getting worse at the end of that work trip than what I was expecting, which surprised me, because I’m pretty risk adverse and my fear was that I was being too conservative.
I talked to my work today and told them I was not coming back next week. I bought myself some time, a couple more weeks. It was a hard decision to make, I wavered back and forth, but I think I made the right call.
It will be a completely different world that we live in by the time my next deadline comes up in a few weeks. I’m hoping with all the lockdowns and increased focus and precautions, it will actually be safer for me to go back to work then than it would now.
And I expect in a few weeks I’ll be able to wear a mask and gloves around people without feeling weird.
Wishing well to your wife’s relatives. They are in a tough spot.
I was just going to post that too. About 198 from catching Germany now.

Nowhere can I find that states exactly what brand of dishtowel/tea towel they used. I’ve yet to see one that isn’t so loosely woven you can’t see daylight through them a mile away.
Here’s the scene right now at Alki Beach in Seattle, despite the governor pleading that people stay home:

Crowds around bonfires

There are some near here who have been waiting all week for test results. Here’s the weekend so may not know until next week.
Both yes and no.
I had insomnia for 1.5 hours last night.
But I took a late afternoon nap.
