California has been “dealing” with the homeless since 1983, easily! Those were the days that grocers were told to pour ammonia or bleach on all the old produce that went into the dumpster. I saw this done, by the Stater Bros. market in Rialto, Ca. across my backyard. It was here I saw homeless people go dumpster diving, while trying to keep my Dobermans calm.

California has been “dealing” with the homeless since 1983, easily!

I vacationed in Seattle in 1982. There was not a homeless person in sight that I could see. No doubt there was some kind of "skid row" as there always is, but all downtown and in all the tourist places, I did not see a single homeless person.

I returned to Seattle for vacation in 1989 and again in 1991. There was a small scattering of homeless bums in a few of the downtown parks and a few more on downtown streets. Nothing excessive or alarming, just surprising. I had no clue it was just the beginning.

Another 10 years later, they were everywhere. Not dug in with tents everywhere and bothering everybody like today, but they were numerous and throughout the city, a common annoyance.

I think back to 1982 when the homeless problem did not exist and the few skid row bums there were were way off the beaten track and kept fed by Salvation Army. Now, the streets are clogged with drug addicted bums.

Liberals destroy everything they touch.
