And my girlfriend works at that base, but doesn’t interact much with the regular airmen.
Vaccines can be quickly brought to trial, but adequate testing takes months and months.
One of my concerns is that they release a vaccine too early, and that it creates a body count or other nasty effects.
I’m going to try to take my mind off this topic for a little while by doing my census. Last time I fought doing it lol
Here in Washington state we tested almost 2500.
The positive was 1012 and the negative was 13177.
The negative went from 904 to 1012. The previous day it went from 769 to 904.

She had to have blood once after bad automobile accident (needed four units, iirc) and after a rough delivery. It was always available, which leads me to believe most blood labs like to keep a good supply on the shelves - because it can be given to most everyone for one, and there is no substitute for you guys/gals currently?

Actually, having a cv diagnosis doesn’t change your treatment, unless you are one of the lucky remdesivir or plasma transfusion candidates. If the COVID-10 swab test didn’t exist it still would have no impact on your treatment at this point.What it does do is tells the health/legal system to quarantine or medically isolate you. It is for the benefit of other people, not you. The treatment decisions are more based on results of the chest radiograph/ct and to some extent fever and other signs.
