Washington State and New York State have the biggest problems and their governors (both are Democrats I believe) are in the best positions to know local conditions and the necessary localized responses that should be made.
States have broad public health protection powers.
The federal government has limited public health protection powers over airliners and ships.

Very strange. He let the state governors do what they felt right for their state, and of course all,they did was use it to instill fear, panic and domestic tyranny to show off their power. I think he was a little naive, expecting that they would be rational and moderate, but you’d think the left would like the fact that he let them manage their local circumstances.
