I went to Walmart this morning shoves were COMPLETELY EMPTY throughout the store I mean BARE NOTHING anywhere!! They made an announcement that the truck had just arrived and if we all lined up in the paper isle we could get one package of toilet paper and one package of paper towels!! They brought the boxes over and an associate opened the boxes and handed each person one of each item!! OMG looking at that store brought tears to my eyes I felt like I was in Venezuela I had to take a deep breath and compose myself!! To think that Americans were behaving this way over a flu like virus is just terrifying!!!
Some of us have been stocking up since January since we were paying close attention to this virus and what it could do.
My wife told me “here we go again, you are doing that y2k thing again”.
Now she just says: “Thank you!” and does the high five.
we shouldn't be surprised by their actions.....
hysteria is not usually explainable but this one has been refined to the Nth degree....
I feel so much for you, Trump Girl. My heart also breaks,seeing these same things. My parents fled Cuba so that we would not have to grow up in this. We’re being told this is just temporary and necessary. But I can’t help but believe we have left the world we knew behind, and this is not temporary.
Well, part of the way they are behaving is the government’s fault. I know many here say it is the media, but honestly it is the government’s fault.
Between them both they’ve scared the American people beyond belief and it isn’t over yet. It is going to get worse.
I for one am a low income independent contractor. And there’s no work right now thanks to the government’s behavior...not the media.
I stocked weeks before and even have a little saved to pay bills next month, but now they are saying 5 months of this ...I will lose everything. I am too old to manage an Amazon warehouse job I will kill myself trying to keep up and they are shutting everything else down.
And the worst happened tonight...my coffee pot died. LOL.
I haven’t been to a store in 3 weeks.
Buck up, it just getting us ready for a Biden/Bernie economy.
