probably the opposite. As EU states see there is no mechanism to help an individual state and member states close their doors to each other instead of ‘all hands on deck.’

The point of the article is that the death rate for Flu vs. those tested positive for Flu is much higher than those dead from Covid-19 and those tested positive for Covid-19. Isn't this at least interesting?
Also, I read in the thread where there are very many now going around shedding virus that will never get tested because they do not suffer symptoms enough to seek medical help. If that is true, that is significant in that the operation is a lot like the flu.
I'm not mad about anything, but I am wondering and pondering one of the following potential conclusions: 1) This is way overblown and thus we need to look at motives. I posted earlier that these are the kind of actions that the left wants us to take regarding climate change, complete societal change kinds of things. 2) That what we are seeing is way way worse than they are indicating or willing to make public and the world is going to be completely different in a year. But if 2, how are we saying that China and South Korea and others have "turned the corner"? Not a lot of 2 makes sense to me at the moment. 1 at least makes sense to me.

There is zero evidence that any country has “turned the corner”.
