Unless they relieve the regulations AND liabilities it’s a minimum of 2 years development with a fully staffed cross functional team of about 50 people + suppliers to prove out the design and the processes before even submitting to the FDA for approvals. Med device has been my thing for 20 years. Most of what I do is helping companies fix themselves after running afoul the FDA.
