Pretty sure I read that it is damaging lungs with effects after you recover but I dont remember where I saw it. I think it also said they are watching to see how the lung recovered long term. Too soon to tell
Casper the Friendly Ghost is killing the old folks off! /sarc
I believe I had it. As does the wife as she also had it.
Flew from Mesa AZ to Appelton Wi the 4th of Jan and came back the 8th. Lady next to me was sick and sure as hell I got it.
Got all the symptoms they list of this thing. I have COPD. THIS IS A DAM PANIC caused by the media and hysterians.
Here is how we managed it.
Drank massive amounts of water and juice, green tea. Ate tomato soup, and soda crackers. Got in front of the heater and breathed in all that nice hot air. Covered up with a heavy blanket and watched a ton of docus on my smart TV. Got into the hot tub after I turned the thing up to 95 degrees, a few times.
After that day the fever broke, got outside and did a ton of yard work. Took several hikes around here. The third day I went back to work-I work part time in the woods up round - . Set up work sites for the logging crew which a man has to walk a lot-all day.
That was it. The dry cough was aggravating as hell, like all those. Then it started to break and I thought no more of it.
My wife? She got it and it laid her low though. But she is so dam pigheaded she wouldnt do the same as I did. We are good to go now
Got any way better to treat it than this? If you do, please have those “Experts” let me know. You dont, cant, wont. Because there IS NOT DAM CURE for a virus.
Given the fumble-fingered CDC, not very good. Just multiply the official number of cases by 10.
I asked first.
You answer first.
Mr. mm says that's what he's been seeing.
He's tracking this very carefully.
Speaking of which, does anybody know if James Cai (in his 30s, severe Wu Flu in New Jersey) is pulling through?
Not for the first time either.
More questions unanswered.
That would be a *no* on the medical professional.
Hemp neckties for media panic-mongers.
Dude, you are still evading. This isn’t about me, but here goes, anyway.
Can you guarantee I will not die? Or my relatives, friends, community? No? Then why are you interfering?
I’m not spreading panic. I’m spreading caution. I’m not hiding behind “it’s just the flu” to disguise my fear, I’m saying “this thing is a threat, how do we mitigate it?” You are running away by pretending a threat you don’t want to see doesn’t exist. I am trying to help people.
The facts do not support your position that this is not a big deal. Get over it. You are wrong and more people will be harmed by your complacency than by my urging preparedness.
Because I believe that the God who created me, who sent his son to die on the cross for my sins and was resurrected on the third day in fulfilment of Scripture, commands me to do what is right.
Thankfully, the same God placed in my heart a strong distaste for evil, for which exhibit A is the Chinese government.
Everything Ive ever posted on this website is fruit of this spirit.
God also made me hotblooded. God knows the accusations you post against me in the form of questions are lies.
Be very careful which path you choose in posting to me.
And dumping dirty baby diapers on the pavement in the parking lot.

That I can tell you from years of personal experience of doing portering in large shopping centers is NOT limited to Mexico. Welfare check or EBT card day is a big one for used diapers
OK.
I’ll look.
WA post has it.
Norwegian Cruise Line managers urged their sales teams to share false information about the novel coronavirus to help land bookings with potential customers, including that the virus cant affect people in tropical temperatures, leaked emails from a company whistleblower show.
A very reasonable post.
Full lock-down will work for most of the US.
For the hot spots—too late.
Excellent post.

“Better to lose 2 grand than 7 grand and live a nightmare”
Absolutely. As late January approached I started thinking as to whether it would be much fun to be wearing a mask and goggles as I visited the sites. One good thing though, we bought N-95 masks for the cruise early - while they were still available!
Wow, question this virus a little too much and suddenly, some of the posters here come out of the woodwork!
