Coming to a town near you.
During an “emergency” via declaration, a governor can do pretty much whatever they want.

No product at all.
None.
Totally out.
"Alan Miranda, who was making his first visit to Vive Latino and especially wanted to see The Warning (ed note: *shudder*), said he felt many people are overreacting to the potential danger of contagion at large gatherings."Because I consider it is more a collective hysteria than any other thing. In Mexico we have a culture of a little bit more of hygiene that helps us to limit this kind of transmissions, he said."
“Can you guarantee everyone will die from it?”
Do you look before you cross the street?
So we get rid of Rene Descartes entirely?
Then all of science is dead.
Then what?
Meanwhile, we’re told to have complete faith in healthcare authorities and the government. Explain.
Thank you for Coronavirus Thread #17!
ITALY (Lombardy)
The situation in Lombardy
‘Today in Lombardy we had 252 deaths, there are 1,218 in total’. These are the data released by the councilor for Welfare of Lombardy Giulio Gallera. ‘There are 13,272 positives, plus 1,587 - he said - 4,898 are hospitalized, plus 602 compared to yesterday, there is a constant but not exponential growth. In intensive care they only increase by 25, 757 in total, a very significant figure smaller than the average of 45. But we don’t sing victory, also because the deaths are 1,218, with a growth of 252 ‘.
Bergamo is the province with the most infected: 3,416 with an increase in one day of 552. In Brescia there are 2,473 (+351), in Cremona 1,792 (227), in Pavia 722 (100), in Mantua 327 (60), Monza and Brianza 339 (+115). In the metropolitan city of Milan, 1,750 (+200) are infected, of which 711 in the city (79), therefore with numbers in proportion to the population lower than other areas.
‘Intensive care is the most delicate aspect - Gallera continued -, not the only one because there are hospitals that after 24 days are really exhausted and are very saturated’. Gallera explained in the region 1,200 intensive care places are now available, set up with ‘a titanic effort that surprises, amazes and moves us too’. So, Gallera explained, ‘we went from 724 to 1,200 seats and a good margin was recovered compared to the numbers we had yesterday, thanks to the large capacity of the structures that are giving answers using everything they have’.
So your conclusion is everyone should abandon independent thought?
That’s absurd!
Obviously you can believe whatever you choose to believe, but you may be proved wrong the hard way. The very hard way.
I’m done commenting to the #flubros.
I dont have a high temperature.
But I am closer to 60 than 50, and have a past history of asthma after a very serious respiratory infection around 10 years ago. I am not currently on any medication for it, but was on a cocktail of expensive medications for several years after that.
I also have mild hypertension, which is under control. As long as I stay on medication, my BP is usually excellent. The only problem is I take an ACE inhibitor.
Does that sound like a sufficient number of risk factors?
Stand—rofl—you just made my day..
Indy—you may have a broken thermometer, but trust me, you have a high temperature... :-)
You’ve been a denier all along. Would it help you if we all just let it run amok and thousands, hundreds of thousands, were to die?
Actual people are dying. This is not some fantasy or made up calamity about drowning polar bears. You are beyond irrational with your conspiracy theories.
Just get out of the way, you have nothing to contribute.
Lookner:
Deaths in Spain more than double in past day from 136 to 288. 3/4 of deaths are in Madrid region, which went from 86 to 213.

Your calls for abandoning independent thinking is far worse form.
Historically, the herd mentality has caused far more deaths than a measure of careful thinking.

South Korea is showing #COVID19 can be beat with smart, aggressive public health. Their daily new cases declined again to 76. Theyve tested 268,000 people for virus since their epidemic began and implemented aggressive containment and mitigation, closing schools, venues quickly.
