Newly crowned WBC Heavy champion Tyson Fury is a follower of Jesus Christ. He always makes room for a pre-fight prayer to settle the nerves and make sure everything goes to plan... Tyson Fury tells the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Yeah I get my religious values from a guy that likes to LICK BLOOD OF THE NECKS OF HIS OPPONENT.
Genghis Kahn is my next go to after this psychopath :)
Gee, I guess all I have to do is go to Vegas and place bets on Catholic Universities to win the football games and cover the spread when they play state schools . . .
No biggie. Would you rather have that or some idiot fag lib who spouts off against Trump? Followers of Christ don’t need to be some clean cut bow tie wearing clergy man .
I see where many people say that Fury is a Christian, but I have a real problem with someone that licks blood off of another man. It seems more likely that this man is possessed by demons.
Tyson won because he was bigger and a much better boxer. Wilder was exposed as having minimal boxing skills - just a very powerful left hand.
Because he’s a better and multidimensional boxer? As opposed to Wilder, who only has power and very little skill.
Wait though. According to the Bible script, the little fells the giant.
Maybe due to that stupid f'n name
Happy he’s a Christian. But even a committed atheist might mutter a “just in case I’m wrong” prayer before getting into a boxing ring. A lot of boxers, even non-Catholics, have that pre-fight genuflect and cross yourself while wearing cumbersome gloves procedure down tight. But personally, I doubt The Lord plays referee in championship boxing matches.
The purpose is to strike your opponent with sufficient force to cause enough brain damage such that your opponent becomes unconscious or at least cannot carry on the fight. It’s not for me.
An intriguing hypothetical match-up would be the 6'9", 270+ pound Fury versus a 5'10", 220 pound Mike Tyson. Is Fury skilled enough to keep the smaller, harder-punching Tyson at bay? Personally, I think that Mike Tyson would win by chopping down the bigger fighter and staying really close to Fury where the long arms are a disadvantage. At the conclusion of the fight, I think that Tyson Fury would have an incredibly bruised torso and the beginning of the end would be marked by Tyson dropping Fury with a body shot.
