Also, NY data dump today did _not_ reflect new NYC cases....
Someone I knew who had direct experience with crisis situations said whisky and cigarettes are the currency of choice when things get serious. He said a stockpile of those items would allow you to pay the thugs with guns you needed to stay safe.
98MM infections, 480M deaths over 2-3 months is what they are telling the hospitals. Thats an infection rate of 30-40% of people. 10X a severe flu season.
Others are saying 70-80% of people infected.
I checked the annual normal death rate is US. It is about 3M = 250k per month.
So that would double the death rate over a two month period, overloading the funeral biz...among other things :-(
